The SandStone ReadyGard Duo safety pen needle is the pen needle that passively covers the front and back needles, eliminating exposure after use. Studies show that both ends of a pen needle are contaminated after use, so both ends of the needle require safety features.
Colored shields on both the front and back-end needles provide visual and tactile confirmation of safety.
The SandStone ReadyGard Duo safety pen needle fits most insulin pens.
